The 6th International Conference on Optical & Wireless Technologies (OWT-2025) was successfully organized at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Goa, India. The conference served as an international platform for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students to present and discuss recent advances in optical engineering, photonics, wireless communication, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, and related interdisciplinary research areas. The conference was organized with the objective of promoting collaboration between academia, research organizations, and industry while fostering innovation in emerging communication technologies.
OWT-2025 witnessed an overwhelming response from the global research community. A total of 270 full-length research papers were submitted from universities, research laboratories, and industries across India and abroad. All submissions underwent a rigorous peer-review process conducted by an international Technical Program Committee through the Microsoft CMT system. Based on the quality of research, originality, technical merit, and relevance to the conference themes, 130 papers were accepted for presentation, resulting in an acceptance rate of approximately 48.1%. Out of the accepted papers, 110 papers were finally registered and presented during the conference, reflecting excellent participation from the research community. Accepted and presented papers were selected for publication in the SPIE Proceedings, providing authors with international visibility. The proceedings were published online on 30 March 2026.
A major highlight of OWT-2025 was its distinguished technical program comprising 10 invited talks delivered by internationally renowned experts from leading universities, research institutes, and industries. These invited lectures covered cutting-edge topics including biomedical photonics, underwater optical communication, 5G/6G antenna technologies, artificial intelligence, quantum-inspired communication systems, reconfigurable antennas, photonic lattices, neurotechnology, and advanced hardware design. The invited sessions provided participants with valuable insights into emerging research directions and encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration. The conference featured multiple parallel technical sessions covering diverse research domains such as optical communication, integrated photonics, optical sensing, wireless communication networks, quantum communication, machine learning for communication systems, Internet of Things (IoT), photonic computing, semiconductor devices, and advanced communication architectures. The technical discussions facilitated meaningful interactions among researchers, enabling knowledge exchange and fostering future collaborative research initiatives.
OWT-2025 successfully achieved its objective of bringing together researchers from academia, research organizations, and industry to exchange innovative ideas and recent technological developments. The excellent quality of technical presentations, active participation of delegates, and insightful invited lectures made the conference a significant milestone in advancing research in optical and wireless technologies. In 2020, the Fourth International conference on Optical and Wireless Technologies (OWT-2020) was to be held in the campus of Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (Institutional Partner) during April 11-12, 2020 was organized online during October 3-4, 2020 due to outbreak of COVID19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown as per guidelines of GOI. A total of 150 participants including the invited speakers, contributing authors and attendees participated in the conference. The participants were explored to broad range of topics critical to our society and industry in the related areas. The conference provided an opportunity to exchange ideas among global leaders and experts from academia and industry in topics like optical materials, optical signal processing & networking, photonic communications systems and networks, all-optical systems, microwave photonics, optical devices for optical communications, nonlinear optics, nanophotonics, software-defined and cognitive radio, signal processing for wireless communications, antenna systems, spectrum management and regulatory issues, vehicular communications, wireless sensor networks, machine-to-machine communications, cellular-WiFi integration etc. The proceedings for this conference was published by SPRINGER INDIA in 2021.

This year (i.e. in 2018), the Second International conference on Optical and Wireless Technologies was held during February 10-11, 2018 at the partner Institute campus: MNIT Jaipur. The conference witnessed a huge support from technical sponsorer such as Optical Society of America, SPIE USA, IETE India, various technical and professional Universities from India and abroad, Industries and eminent speakers. About 100 author and attendees participated in the conference and had a fruitful technical discussion and interactive session with invited renowned speakers all across the globe. The proceeding for this conference was published by SPRINGER INDIA in 2019.
International Conference on Computer, Communications and Electronics was held during July 1-2, 2017 at Manipal University Jaipur campus. The technical programs were rich and varied with 8 invited talks and around 131 technical papers split between 20 parallel oral sessions. Comptelix-2017 provided technical demonstrations, and numerous opportunities for informal networking.

Apart from high quality contributed paper presented by delegates from all over the country and abroad, the conference participants also witnessed a informative demonstrations and technical sessions form the industry as well as invited talks from renowned experts aimed at advances in these areas. Overall response to the conference was quite encouraging. A large number of papers were received. After a rigorous editorial and review process, 80 papers were invited for presentation during the conference. Among the presented papers, 77 papers were selected for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
